I’ve not put to use the new Polldaddy function offered by wordpress. But, what with all the recent polls and election, it’s time to give this a try.
So here’s my first basic poll. Tell me what ranks at the top of your list for November. What’s it means to you?

Land of 10,000 Perspectives 
I would have voted for cooler temps and the possibility of snow, but living in this part of California it’s pretty much a given that there will be no snow. And while the temps are cooler, I’m still wearing open toe shoes and haven’t even thought about turning on the heat in my apartment.
So I voted for turkey (and in my mind for watching my Cowboys play on Thanksgiving as well). Which is a close second anyway.
That was a toughie but in the end I had to go with the turkey.
Now maybe if we could have combined them say eating turkey on a cool day with the possibility of the first snow on the way watching the season premiere of 24 while secretly thanking the stars that you aren’t going to have to listen to anymore of those “and I approve this message” commercials while you’re watching.
