What’s it all about? Glad you asked.
On June 3, 2007 I completed my first ever triathlon. It was a nice short sprint distance tri, which I finished in 1 hour 33 minutes. Not bad for a first timer. But beyond the triathlon experience, this blog is about just about anything and everything.
I live in the Land of 10,000 Lakes (the official slogan of Minnesota), which means this blog is the Land of 10,000 perspectives – all mine. And I’ve found that through living normal, everyday life; relationships; parenting; making sure that I can still see my toes as I get older with the passing of each day; religion; education; technology; pet peeves; and cats (well, animals in general) that my perspectives change like a Sleep Number bed – to fit the situation.
Ultimately though, the blog and its entries are all about optimism. We only have one life to live, let’s all do it well.

Congratulations on the Thinking Blogger Award!
Have a nice day !
hey DailyTri! Bibliomom told me about your place here on wordpress because she said we both posted stuff about eHarmony on the same day.
Absolutely fascinating to me how much we have in common. I was even gonna post something about Obama’s speech today as well. I just finished listening to it.
I used to tri about five years ago, too but life and an injury got in the way. I’m planning to pick it up this year.
I look forward to reading more of your stuff.
peace,
julian
